Cards tonight?
I made this today for a friends surprise party this afternoon. Top tier is double chocolate pound cake with baileys ganache buttercream icing, bottom tier is pound cake with strawberry rhubarb filling. The cards are hand painted on gumpaste, and lower cards are written in edible marker. The roses are fondant. This is my third cake covered in fondant, my second tier cake. Can't wait to eat it this afternoon!

It's been quite a CRAZY ride! Who knew cake competitions were so exciting. I wish everyone GOOD LUCK! You all deserve it.. I have seen some amazing creations, and have been inspired by many.
